Dr. Nici Haessler

Nici graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2001, fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian.  She has been practising veterinary medicine for the past 14 years with a particular interest in surgery.  She moved from Guelph to Thornbury in 2002 seeking outdoor activities and a small town lifestyle.  Her faithful running companion is her Alaskan Malamute “Nanuq”.  He is second to none when it comes to fully enjoying our winter climate; whether he is pulling a sled or lounging in the snow.  When Nici isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys spending time hiking and snowboarding with her husband Daniel and their two very active sons.
